Retirement Residual Income

The term “residual”, by definition, means something that is remaining or left over. We tend to think about the insurance business, where commissions are paid over time; however, they are based on just one person’s sales efforts. For my purpose, residual income means earning income from the efforts of others.

Building a successful downline through network marketing has been shown to be valuable in producing a lucrative retirement residual income. Having a successful downline is dependent on a competent and responsive marketing leader who is adept at motivating those people in the sales organization that create the backbone of the income stream that creates wealth, that is, a substantial retirement residual income.

LEADERSHIP

A leader with qualities that provide inspiration and direction in his or her organization is more likely to have the confidence and loyalty of others within the organization and downline. This loyalty is extremely important in retaining such individuals in the business. Inspiring and directing others creates success, which in turn, creates profits for all within the organization. Teaching and inspiring others to start their own successful business for increasing retirement residual income, and producing financial freedom is a lofty goal which is achieved thousands of times a day, and is the ultimate success story in network marketing. When a leader in network marketing realizes the importance of meeting others needs, they rarely fail. Network marketing is a career field that gives potential leaders a chance to really show their best skills, whereas in most working situations that chance is never realized. In network marketing each leader or salesperson can take initiative as they desire through self-motivation without the necessity of outside encumbrances or expected production goals of others.

Retention of well-trained and motivated distributors is vitally important in network marketing and the realization of significant retirement residual income. Success in retaining those motivated distributors is initially related to screening prospects most likely to succeed in the organization. This is followed by the leader providing the chosen prospects with the tools that they need as well as the leadership that they need. Keeping everyone excited and motivated is infectious in the downline and creates a high degree of professionalism at all levels of the organization. As each distributor becomes a leader in his or her own right, a ripple effect is created throughout the organization, generating a compounded financial success in generating retirement residual income. The happier, more secure, and more successful the people are in the organization, the more productive and loyal they are. As a result they are creating a positive “vicious cycle” for the organization. Those motivated become the motivators, and this gives a special spirit, or “esprit de corps” to the entire organization.

Being a successful leader starts with the right attitude and motivation. By networking with other professional, successful and well-trained network marketers and advisors, you can create a successful and loyal sales team that mimics your leadership qualities. By everyone developing these qualities, it makes it much easier to reach or exceed a level of retirement residual income you desire.
